So like I promised yesterday, here is part 2 (of 3) of the young designer's ranges, and these are some of my favourite moments from the women's collections, including the winners. Just a quick recap on this year's jury. It was headed by Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Creative Director at Lacoste, the rest of the jury was made up of other heavyweights including Delphine Toche, joint editor-in-chief of Numéro Magazine, Imran Amed, editor-in-chief of The Business of Fashion, Mark Holgate, director of fashion news at Vogue USA, Barbara Countinho, director of MUDE, the Museum of Design and Fashion and Paula Reed, fashion director at Harvey Nichols. As I've mentioned before, this competition is not necessarily about creating ranges to go into stores, but rather to give the designers a platform to show off their creativity, design technique and craftsmanship, and at the same time get priceless exposure to the international fashion media.
