WHAT????
Hello Skattie, it’s almost that time again, we’re just over
a week away from the J&B Met, the superglam horseracing event which will be held at the Kenilworth
racecourse in Cape Town on the 31st of January. This time around I’ve got a whole 20 tickets to
giveaway, thanks to J&B, the peeps, who've been behind what is possibly my
favourite shindig since 1977. No really, those who’ve been around this blog for
a minute know the kinds of pics this event blesses us with. Can’t wait!
OH SKATTIE BUT HOW?????
So, those tickets. I have 10 General access tickets, and
another 10 even fancier tickets for the Lifestyle Village, and here’s how you
can get your hands on a pair for you and your best skattie. Put together an
outfit that you think most stylishly and most skattielisciously expresses this
year’s theme, “Made for the mix”. A
bitjie background on the theme, it’s about combining two seemingly contrasting
elements, and it’s inspired by J&B’s new J&B Urban Honey, which combines
the whisky with sweet honey flavours. Oh, on that note, I also have a bottle of
the good stuff to giveaway to 1 special skattie, who might not win a ticket, but shows serious effort. So, put together your outfit, using yours or a
friend’s garments, show us how your outfit is MADE FOR THE MIX, shoot a pic,
and mail it to skattiewhat@gmail.com.
Closing date Tuesday 27th at 12h00 noon. Judging session to be published on the Wednesday 28th, where the winner will be announced.
