This past Thursday AFI hosted a media launch for the upcoming Cape Town Fashion Week which will run from the 24 to the 26 of July. The launch was held over three venues in Cape Town, and we were driven around in fancy Mercs from venue to venue for the afternoon. I won't lie, it felt a little bizarre listening to a speech in one location, then jumping into a car to listen to another in a different spot, but in hindsight; being chauffeured around in luxury rides was really really really not the worst way to spend the afternoon, well, except that those fancy cars always make me feel so povo.
