THURSDAY /// LUNCH AT THE ROOFTOP IN SANDTON WITH MR PRICE & HENRY HOLLAND

Such an awesome day yesterday, Mr Price invited a group of us for a get together and lunch in Jozi to launch their new collaborations with hot London designer Henry Holland and with band-of-the-moment Fun, and their denims and tees campaign. Mr Holland and his crew were in attendance. If you don't know who Henry Holland is, then get googling sweetskat. The collabo with Mr P is a range of cool tees inspired by the House of Holland's ranges from the last 6 yrs to present. As awesome as the event and fashion was, the bit that really caught my attention was the work that Mr P's Red Cap Foundation does. As we all know, there's a lot of fucked up shit in our education system right now, and we also know that as things are we can't depend on government to fix it, so we need more social involvement from individuals and companies. The Red Cap Foundation does just that. I personally was very touched, i'm not gonna try and explain it in case i fuck that explanation up, so i've uploaded the video that came with the press release below, check it out, be inspired, get involved. btw R10 of the sale price from the Henry Holland tees at Mr P will go to the Red Cap Foundation.

two things i totally fucked up last friday i went to check out the first you&me&everyone we know market of the season my favourite market in cape town but i forgot to charge my battery the previous night peeps were looking fucking amazing but alas i couldnt shoot and by the time i got a charger from home it was almost too late thankfully these skatties were still there thank you thing number two i must go to bed ive got lunch in jozi tomorrow with mr price and henry holland totally looking forward to that so excited its not like i get flown around the country all the time for lunch so thank you mr p and skatties please dont judge the lady in the second pic because her denim shirt is ill fitting her style is still fab

DANKIE FOR THE MOST AWESOME SURPRISE BIRTHDAY DINNER EVER

Askies skat but I have to take this moment and thank my partner and my friends who worked so hard and hooked me up such an awesome and intimate surprise birthday dinner. It was fucking cool celebrating my birthday in the company of some of  my favourite people in this city. Bar one or two people that I have not had the opportunity to get to know yet, practically everyone there was my people, people I’ve had many awesome experiences with, and to have them all around the same table, special. Excuse the corniness skattie but I is 34, fast approaching middle age, and you know a bitch gets sentimental in the latter years. In fact I’m reminded of my fave corny saying, “our friends are the family we choose” or something like that, and I am so feeling my choice right now. I love you guys.
